Meet Carolina Ritchie Acosta

The business strategist behind NexGen Business Solutions, helping San Diego owners build a stronger company behind the work they already know how to do.

Carolina's work is rooted in a simple observation: many entrepreneurs become successful before their business systems become organized. They find customers, earn referrals, hire help and grow revenue, but bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, formation records and compliance can remain fragmented. NexGen exists to help close that gap.

Her approach

Start with the business as it really exists.

Carolina does not assume every business needs every service. A new LLC, a ten-year-old landscaping company and a family cleaning business can all have very different priorities. The first job is to understand the current stage, the owner's concerns and what the business is trying to accomplish next.

From there, NexGen can help organize the relevant financial and administrative pieces: bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation and planning, business formation, compliance and practical business consulting. When a matter falls outside NexGen's scope, the owner should work with the appropriately qualified professional.

Local experience

Helping more than 100 business owners across San Diego County.

That experience matters because the same operational patterns appear across very different industries. Owners can be exceptionally good at delivering a service and still struggle to keep the financial and administrative side current. Growth amplifies the problem: more customers create more transactions; employees create payroll; larger contracts create documentation requirements; tax decisions become more important; and compliance becomes harder to track informally.

Carolina's role is to help make those invisible systems visible and understandable.

Who NexGen is for

Especially aligned with owner-led service businesses.

NexGen is a strong fit for entrepreneurs who built their companies through work, referrals and reputation rather than through a formal corporate launch. That includes landscapers, cleaners, janitorial companies, contractors, maintenance firms, drivers, home-service providers, independent professionals and family businesses.

These owners often need practical explanations rather than jargon. They want to know what is missing, why it matters, what should come first and how the different parts of the business connect.

Formation

Start or reorganize the administrative foundation of the company.

Financial systems

Build better bookkeeping, payroll and tax organization.

Readiness

Prepare the business infrastructure for employees, growth and larger opportunities.

Bilingual by design

Spanish is part of the customer experience, not an add-on.

For many Latino entrepreneurs, the business journey moves from worker to side jobs to referrals to helpers to employees. The business becomes real before the infrastructure becomes formal. Carolina understands that progression and can explain the financial and administrative side directly in Spanish.
